Konstsmide Lighting
Originally started in Sweden, Konstsmide are a lighting company who produce beautiful lighting ranges inspired by the Nordic landscape and ethos. It was started in the small town of Gnosjo in Southern Sweden by a bus driver called Gunnar Johansson; he had the vision of producing beautiful garden ornaments and wrought iron flower stands, thus enabling Gnosjo Kontsmide to be born. By the 1950's, Kontsmide had grown considerably and started producing electric candlesticks, propelling them into the world of decorative and outdoor lighting.
Kontsmide are constantly trying to find new innovative ways to light up both the interior and exterior of homes. With an ethos, which states “light should be there to comfort and warm”, Kontsmide predominantly specialise in festive or party lighting. As well as this, they are also always looking at new technologies in energy-efficiency, making them an excellent choice when decking out the inside and outside of your home in beautiful, cosy and mood-lifting lighting.
