Product Description
The Taro Single Downlight is subtle in style and will work well in a contemporary setting. Perfect for illuminating your kitchen or office space, the neutral white finish on this downlight will match any colour scheme. This recessed directional downlight has a maximum 35 degree tilt so simply adjust to give the right level of light for you.
This smart fitting is also available in a fire rated alternative.
Fire-rating regulations
This product is not fire-rated and when installed will not retain the fire-rating integrity of the ceiling in its own right. If installation is intended in a building or location that is governed by building regulations, you will also need to purchase and install an appropriate intumescent firehood in conjunction with this product. If in doubt please consult your electrician / installer.
Class II Double Insulated
If the wiring in your home does not include an earth cable within the lighting circuit, then the Taro Single Downlight is a suitable option as it has double insulation.
Bulb Requirements
A maximum 50W GU10 spotlight is required for this light fitting, due to current legislation, Lighting Direct recommends the use of LED or low energy alternatives.
