Product Description
The Scorpius Wall Downlight in a copper finish will make a striking feature at the entrance to your home or on any other sheltered exterior wall. Contemporary in style, this handsome downlight is robust too. It has a shatter-proof transparent polycarbonate diffuser and with an IP23 rating it is protected against solid objects greater that 12mm (i.e. fingers) and spraying water (rainproof). The Scorpius Wall Downlight is built for outdoor life and can even be positioned in coastal locations.
The copper finish on this product is unlacquered and will weather back to a green Verdigris finish over time. The speed of this weathering will be dependent on where it is located and the associated environmental conditions.
Guarantee against corrosion
The Scorpius Wall Downlight comes with an impressive 15 year guarantee against corrosion.
Please note that the finish on this downlight is unlacquered copper and so will naturally age back to a green tinted verdigris finish over time. The speed of this process will be dependent on the environmental conditions in which it is placed.
Bulb Requirements
Whilst this downlight accepts a maximum 40W small screw golf ball bulb, due to current legislation, Lighting Direct recommends an energy saving or LED alternative.
