The Scorpius Maxi Wall Downlight in a copper finish is distinctive and will add impact to any outside wall. This striking downlight is perfect for illuminating the entrance to your home or for positioning around a patio or decking area in your back garden. If you are looking for contemporary style with durability then this downlight will certainly deliver.
This fitting is hardwearing and is built for life outdoors. It has a shatter-proof transparent polycarbonate diffuser and is robust enough for coastal locations. With an IP23 it is protected against solid objects greater that 12mm (i.e. fingers) and spraying water (rainproof).
The copper finish on this product is unlacquered and will weather back to a green Verdigris finish over time. The speed of this weathering will be dependent on where it is located and the associated environmental conditions.
Guarantee against corrosion
The Scorpius Maxi Wall Downlight comes with a 15 year guarantee against corrosion.
Please note that the finish on this downlight is unlacquered copper and so will naturally age back to a green tinted verdigris finish over time. The speed of this process will be dependent on the environmental conditions in which it is placed.
Bulb Requirements
Whilst this downlight accepts a maximum 60W Screw GLS bulb, due to current legislation, Lighting Direct recommends an energy saving or LED alternative.
