Traditional Light Bulbs

Traditional light bulbs are also known as GLS's (General Lighting Service), which simply means they can be used for the majority of applications. In the past this type of bulb was also known as an A60; this was in reference to the diameter being 60mm. This style of bulb was first introduced as incandescent lighting then all other forms of technology gradually brought out their version of the traditional GLS.
