Main Features of the Guardcam LED Floodlight

If you are looking for added security at home then the Guard-cam security floodlight might be the answer. This all-in-one system comprises of a PIR floodlight, camera, speaker and DVR system.

To install, simply connect to the mains power, attach to the wall and the built in DVR will record directly to the SD card which is supplied with this fitting. There are two formats for the camera recording - video or still frame. The images produced are very clear and with the use of LED lighting even night time recording is crystal clear.

This LED security light offers you around the clock monitoring of your home, giving you complete peace of mind. The PIR can be set to give you the best coverage and the 'time on' option can be changed too, making this floodlight extremely flexible.

High Resolution Digital Camera

The clear images recorded on the integrated camera can be stored on the provided 4GB SD card. The card will store a maximum of 750 x 20 second video clips or 60,000 still images. Old images are automatically overwritten so that you can just concentrate on the most up to date recordings and there is no need to remember to clean the card.

Waterproof Unit

It is vital that the SD card is protected. With this in mind, the SD card and time date controls are safely housed behind a waterproof door which requires the supplied Allen Key to open.

Date and Time setting

With a few simple steps you can set up a system within Guard-Cam to input the time/day/month/year which will be applied to each recording. If there is a failure of the mains power this setting will not be lost as the floodlight uses back up batteries.

PIR motion detector with integrated photocell

The presence of intruders can be detected up to a distance of 12 metres from the Guard-Cam Security Floodlight courtesy of its PIR system. The integrated photocell will give you flexibility as it allows you to choose whether you want activation during the day or night.

Audible Warning Options

This multi-functional LED floodlight has another clever feature: Guard-Cam gives you the option of delivering one of the following messages upon activation: "Warning - you are trespassing" or "Warning - You are being captured on video". Another option available on this system is the sound of a dog barking which can prove quite a powerful deterrent. There is also an option to have no voice alert.

Simple replay on Windows Media Player

An SD to USB converter will come with your order for the Guard-Cam Security Floodlight. Images recorded can be launched and stored using Windows Media Player or other suitable media software. Please note that this is not compatible with Apple computers.
