You’re guaranteed a smooth entrance with the help of this Dune wall light from Edit. Its PIR (passive infrared) sensor – an attractive feature in its own right – is built into the backplate, detecting motion up to 8m away in a 120° degree range and instantaneously flicking on the lights in response.

You can adjust the length of time they stay on for between 5 seconds and 4 minutes – providing you with the confidence and security of a brightly lit front door when you return home. There’s also a handy override function for times when you’d like to leave the lights either firmly on or off.

Made from high-performance stainless steel with clear glass diffusers to ensure even lighting, this stylish light has a weatherproof IP44 rating, so it’s suitable for outdoor use even on more exposed walls.

The streamlined design – an overall 220mm in height, including the backplate, with the 60mm diameter cylinder projecting just 110mm – means it won’t overwhelm its surrounds, but gracefully complement them.
