It is F Certified for mounting on flammable surfaces.

PIR Sensor

This fitting has a PIR Sensor which activates the light when it senses movement within a 10M range so is ideal for deterring intruders. Once the light is activated there is the added benefit of an adjustable time-on setting allowing you to set the time it remains lit from between 5 seconds and 5 minutes, giving you further flexibility. This fitting is PIR activated only and the sensor cannot be overridden. The bulb included with this fitting has a 5000 switch cycle average life expectancy.

Class II Double Insulated

If the wiring in your home does not include an earth cable within the lighting circuit, then this wall light is a suitable option as it has double insulation.

Coastal Locations

The Bamboo Wall Light is not suitable for coastal locations. Lighting Direct recommends copper or galvanised steel alternatives for locations within ten miles of the coast.

Bulb Requirements

This wall light accepts an E27 screw cap bulb but comes with, and is recommended for use with, a Philips 11W low energy compact fluorescent bulb. The manufacturer’s stated maximum wattage is 11W. This smart fitting, when activated, will emit a warm white (2700 Kelvin) light. It has a total light output of 600 lumens and equates to a 50W halogen bulb.
